Launch Of ‘Kilkee Then And Now’ Booklet And Exhibition To Celebrate Local Heritage And Community Stories

Kilkee’s rich heritage and community stories are being brought to life in a new booklet and exhibition titled ‘Kilkee Then and Now’, which will be officially launched at Kilkee Library on Monday, November 9.

The project brings together historical photographs, personal memories and contemporary images, capturing how the town has changed over the years while celebrating its unique character and community spirit.

To tell us more about the project, the stories behind it and the importance of preserving local heritage, Derrick Lynch was joined by Councillor Joe Killeen, Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, and Emer Bowen, Executive Librarian at Clare County Council.
