She’s an antique dealer while he’s an antique repairman who I think specializes in projectors. Even though she wins the bid for the projector, he asks her out. But they’re both so busy, it’s gonna be hard to find time before the new year. So she invites herself to his family’s house for their annual cookie bake. His family bakes 900 cookies every year for folks in need. She survives the big night and they really dig each other.

Cut to 1 year later, they’re still dating and he has a ring! She comes over to his Christmas house and he proposes! And before he can even get the question out, she stops him and tells him that he’s too perfect and runs out.

He decides to go to his sister’s house and gets into a car crash!! She gets a call and comes straight to the hospital. She goes in to see him and he doesn’t know who she is. He has selective amnesia and doesn’t remember the last year. The doctor encourages her to 50 First Dates him and help him get his memory back. To make matters crazier, the family all saw the ring he had in his possession at the time of the crash.
