Ethan Hawke Tells Drew Barrymore He Can’t Believe They Never Dated as They Meet for the First Time on Her Talk Show

Ethan Hawke is expressing surprise at the fact that he never dated Drew Barrymore — to the actress herself.

In a Friday, Oct. 16 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Hawke, 55, told Barrymore, 51: “I can’t remember a time in my life when I was not aware of you.”

“That’s how I feel about you!” Barrymore responded.

Hawke then added: “What I can’t believe is that we never dated, you know? I mean...”

“Where were you?” Barrymore then jokingly replied, adding, “And by the way what me and every other girl on the planet wouldn’t have given to date you. Where the Hell were you?”
