Tintin Sequel Finally Moves Forward After Fifteen Years

Director Peter Jackson has officially confirmed that a sequel to the 2011 animated film The Adventures of Tintin is finally moving forward as his next directorial project. Despite the original movie earning $374 million worldwide and winning a Golden Globe, plans for a follow-up stalled for fifteen years due to other major film commitments and competing priorities. Jackson and Fran Walsh have completed the screenplay, which will pick up directly where the first installment concluded. With previous production hurdles now cleared, fans of Hergé's original comic books can expect the long-awaited continuation to finally materialize.
