# 729 - Sublime on Bradley Nowell's Final Days and the Band's Rebirth

I’ve been a massive Sublime fan since the '90s, so having Eric and Bud on the podcast was a dream come true. Unfortunately Jakob was under the weather and couldn’t join us this time. We talk about growing up in Long Beach, creating their signature sound, the early days with Bradley Nowell, how "Santeria" came together, and the heartbreaking story of losing Bradley just as the band was about to take off. We also get into addiction and sobriety, Bud's absolutely insane night partying with Tommy Lee, and what it's been like bringing Bradley's son Jakob into the band all these years later. Plus, we talk about their new album Until the Sun Explodes, the Sublime cruise, and why seeing these guys back together means so much to fans like me.
