Her Ex-Boyfriend Turned into a Serial Killer, and She Was His Next Target

A new television episode highlights the harrowing ordeal of Amber Carter, whose abusive former partner, Jeremy Harris, embarked on a terrifying shooting spree across Dallas in the autumn of 2020. After making a fateful phone call to her ex, the volatile criminal targeted and murdered three random individuals before ultimately tracking Carter down to her father's residence. There, Harris brutally gunned down her father, Blair Carter, and set the dwelling ablaze in a final act of destructive vengeance. Following his swift apprehension by law enforcement, the perpetrator entered a guilty plea in 2023 and was subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. Today, Carter navigates her ongoing recovery by working as a mental health crisis responder while striving to honor her late father's memory.
