Paris Is Burning, The Deen Fallacy, and Unelected

In his October 19 column, "Paris Is Burning. Is Washington Next?", Scott McKay argues that France's unrest should be a warning for Americans heading into the midterms. He examines activist networks, protest organizing, and the possibility that escalating confrontation could trigger a larger governing crisis. McKay, a contributing editor at The American Spectator and publisher of The Hayride, which covers Louisiana and national politics, as well as RVIVR.com, a national political news aggregation and opinion site, and the author of political nonfiction books including The Revivalist Manifesto: How Patriots Can Win the Next American Era and Racism, Revenge and Ruin: It's All Obama and fiction books including the Tales of Ardenia novels and the Mike Holman series, is scheduled to join me to discuss his argument, the allegations he cites about coordinated activism, and why he believes Americans should scrutinize the infrastructure behind political unrest.

Continuing to look at how when we watch France burn, we are really watching the fall of all Western Civilization unless we change course; we will discuss the deen fallacy that has allowed political Islam to spread while hiding its nature under the guise of religion. I am scheduled to be joined by Elaine Ellinger, researcher, author, and creator of Perspectives on Islam, to discuss her latest book, The Deen Fallacy: How the West Came to Misclassify Islam: Cause, Consequence, and Correction. In it, her research challenges the conventional Western categorization of Islam as solely a religion and examines how historical translation, scholarship, and legal assumptions influenced government policy.

Who gets to decide America's elected government no longer has authority? According to Jennica Pounds, better known as DataRepublican on X, NGO networks and former USAID officials believe they get to decide. In recent "Democracy Files" posts, a series Jennica has made a feature on her X account, she alleges that NGO networks and former USAID officials have discussed challenging federal authority after the midterms, including conditions for declaring Washington illegitimate. I am scheduled to be joined by best-selling author Joshua Lisec, who co-authored the new book, Unelected, with Jennica. He will connect those allegations to the book's broader examination of power beyond the ballot box.
