Will Avengers Secret Wars Get DELAYED?! Filming Might Push To 2027?!

Is Avengers: Secret Wars about to get delayed AGAIN? New reports suggest that Marvel Studios may be pushing production on Avengers: Secret Wars into 2027, raising major concerns about whether the highly anticipated MCU crossover can still make its planned December 17, 2027 release date.

On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we're breaking down the latest Avengers: Secret Wars filming delay rumors, what they mean for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and whether the Russo Brothers will have enough time to complete one of the biggest superhero movies ever attempted.

With Avengers: Doomsday arriving in December 2026 and Robert Downey Jr. returning as Doctor Doom, Marvel Studios is preparing to bring together some of its biggest franchises, including the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four.

But if Secret Wars doesn't begin principal photography until 2027, will Marvel have enough time for filming, visual effects, editing, and post-production?

Could Avengers: Secret Wars be pushed into 2028? And would delaying the movie actually be the smartest decision Marvel Studios could make?

We're discussing whether Marvel should prioritize meeting its release date or give the Russo Brothers the time necessary to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the Multiverse Saga.

We're also getting some exciting news from Peter Jackson!

Despite previous reports that The Lord of the Rings: The Shadow of the Past had been paused, Jackson has confirmed that the project is still moving forward.

What does this mean for the future of Middle-earth, and how could The Shadow of the Past fit alongside The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum?

With Warner Bros. and Skydance making major decisions about their upcoming film slate, fans have been wondering whether these new Lord of the Rings projects would survive the transition.
