OPM looks to recruit the next generation of federal employees
Early-career workers looking to join public service have some upcoming opportunities. The Office of Personnel Management is hosting a hiring fair today, targeted at recruitment of employees under 30 years old. At the event, candidates will have the opportunity to interview for a role, with the potential to receive an initial job offer. It’s the first recruitment event in a planned series, OPM says. For fiscal 2027, the Trump administration has set a governmentwide target of making 33% of all new hires early-career talent.
