<p>What causes salt to lose its flavor and its preserving power? What makes salt useless?</p><p><br></p><p>In Part 2 of Stay Salty, My Friends, we're looking at how Christians go from being defined by devotion to Jesus, prayer and Scripture to being more influenced by culture than by Christ.</p><p><br></p><p>Salt loses its effectiveness when other things get mixed in. The same is true spiritually. Where there's compromise and mixture, deception is sure to be found.</p><p><br></p><p>Can you recognize when you've deceived yourself or been deceived by culture? When was the last time God's Word exposed a lie, corrected you, and brought you to repentance?</p>
