We’re dipping into the Radio Cherry Bombe archives this week in honor of Olivia Colman’s new movie, “Wicker,” in which she plays a fisherwoman who orders up a husband, played by Alexander Skarsgård. Olivia is one of our favorite actors, and we’re revisiting her conversation with host Kerry Diamond and food stylist Dorothy Barrick about the film “The Roses,” in which Olivia stars opposite Benedict Cumberbatch as a chef whose marriage takes a dramatic turn.

Olivia and Dorothy talk about bringing the movie’s food-filled scenes to life, Olivia’s other chef role as Chef Terry on “The Bear,” and what it takes to make the food look picture-perfect on screen. Olivia also shares her own cooking skills, her early jobs in restaurants, and why playing an angry character can be so much fun.
