Miley Cyrus got emotional and broke down in tears Friday during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl while paying tribute to her godmother Dolly Parton.

The singer projected a photo of the country music legend as the beginning notes of her iconic song "Jolene" played.

The Grammy winner referred to Parton as her "Aunt Dolly."

Cyrus shared that the only time she saw Parton perform was at the Hollywood Bowl.
