What Does Wood, Hay and Stubble Mean?
What does wood, hay and stubble mean? In 1 Corinthians 3:1-23 (KJV), Paul lays the only foundation, Jesus Christ, and warns that every man's work shall be tried by fire.
1 Corinthians Part 4 (Corinthians for Dummies) with Matt Hepner and the Raven: ministers, God's building, and ye are the temple of God.
Matt and the Raven pick up in 1 Corinthians 3 with brethren who are still babes, then Romans 8, Galatians 5 and Paul's arrival in Corinth (Acts 18). Next: what a minister really is, Paul planting and Apollos watering, and labourers together with God. Then the only foundation, Jesus Christ, gold, silver and precious stones versus wood, hay and stubble, and every man's work tried by fire. They close on the temple of God, what it means to defile it, and why the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.
