Full EP | Halle Berry Denies Posting About Ex-Husband; Daughter Lied on Her Stepfather; Comedian George Wallace Returns to DLHS Crew; Five Black Actors Who Survived Scary Movies

An Instagram mystery, a family-shattering confession, and George Wallace’s punchlines—D.L. and the crew have plenty to unpack before the Halloween scares begin. On The D.L. Hughley Show Podcast, the conversation opens with reports that Halle Berry did not publish a cryptic parenting quote that appeared on her Instagram amid her custody dispute with ex-husband Olivier Martinez. Sources close to Berry say her team is investigating how the since-deleted message appeared; a hack has not been confirmed. The Question of the Day then tackles a disturbing scenario: an adult daughter admits, ten years after her mother’s divorce, that she falsely accused her stepfather of sexual assault at her biological father’s urging so he could reunite with her mother. D.L., the crew, and callers debate accountability, apologies, counseling, and whether shattered trust can ever be repaired.

Comedy legend George Wallace returns to face the crew’s “Four the Hard Way” questions, delivering offbeat jokes about his friendship with Jerry Seinfeld, lending money, and a traffic stop. The comedian, who also co-created and starred in Clean Slate alongside Laverne Cox, brings his signature playful storytelling to the conversation. Then My Top 5 flips the familiar horror-movie stereotype with five Black stars whose characters made it out alive: Ice Cube in Anaconda, Duane Martin in Scream 2, Brandy Norwood in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Taye Diggs in House on Haunted Hill, and Halle Berry in Gothika. From serious family questions to laugh-out-loud comedy and Halloween watchlist picks, this episode keeps the conversation moving.
