Nigel Farage has spent years telling us that the British people are behind him. So imagine his surprise when he turns up to unveil Reform's big economic rescue plan and discovers that some are indeed sitting behind him, only no one's sitting in front of him.

Jemma and Marina revel in Farage addressing rows of empty chairs, blaming his staff for the distinctly underwhelming turnout and watching Robert Jenrick clap enthusiastically in what looks increasingly like a very awkward job interview.

Then there's the spectacularly flat attempt at humour and Reform's exciting new plan to bring back imperial measurements. Because apparently what Britain really needs is more inches.

Reform's much-trumpeted momentum is beginning to look a little less unstoppable.

A glorious feast of schadenfreude. And the Trawl ladies aren't even pretending to be impartial about it.
