Who's going to be the next mayor of Coquitlam?

Coquitlam will elect a new mayor for the first time since 2008. That's because long-time Mayor Richard Stewart is not running for re-election. The CBC's Stephen Quinn and Justin McElroy spoke with three candidates for Mayor.

Craig Hodge has been a Coquitlam City Councillor since 2011. Before that, he was a photojournalist with the Vancouver Sun and community newspapers.

Madhavee Inamdar has worked in the public sector with numerous organizations including the Government of BC, Surrey RCMP, Fraser Health and the University of the Fraser Valley.

And Trish Mandewo has been a Coquitlam City Councillor since 2018, and is the former President of the Union of BC Municipalities.
